The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, January 30, 2003 Gladys Evans DeWitt, 75, of Phoenix passed away Mon., Jan 27, 2003. She was born in Bethany Penn. but had resided in Phoenix over 30 years. She was a long-time employee of RAP Warehouse, an auto parts firm. Gladys was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Kay Bonner in 1993. Survivors include her husband Robert N. DeWitt; sons Daniel C. Evans and wife Carol; David C. Evans and wife Cindy; grandsons, Daniel D. Evans, Brian P. Evans, Eugene B. Bonner; granddaughters, Becky Evans, Sheri Bateman, Daryl Ann O'Connell, Mareena Hajenga; and five great grandchildren; sister Kathryn M. Rabey and husband John J., niece Karyn M. Bates and nephew John F. Rabey. Also many special cousins and DeWitt relatives. Gladie brought joy and laughter to all her loved ones and to everyone whose lives she touched. Services at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 6501 N. 39th Ave, Phoenix, Arizona, Mon., Feb. 3, at 11 a.m. Cremated remains will be interred in St. Mary's Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers it is suggested contributions be made to St. Mary's Episcopal Church or to the Arizona Humane Society. |
