Trudix (Trudy) E. (Anderson) McAloney

Trudix (Trudy) E. McAloney, 85, of Peoria (formerly of Mesa) Arizona, went home to her Lord on 1/20/03.

She was born the eldest child to Mary and Levi Anderson, White Rock, SD, on 11/29/17. Trudy attended Woodbury Art College, Glendale, CA, Jr. College and later worked for the War Production Board and the U.S. Postal Service Inspection Div. in Washington, DC.

On 1/12/52, she married Wallace L. McAloney in Clinton, MN and they resided in Breckenridge, MN. In 1960, the McAloneys moved to Grantsburg, WI and in 1981, they moved to Arizona.

Trudy leaves to mourn her husband, Wallace, Peoria, AZ; son Curtis (Jane) McAloney, Rosemount, MN; daughter, Lee (Lalo) Rios, Peoria, AZ; grandchildren, Camille & Spencer McAloney, Rosemount, MN; sister Iralda (Jo) Inslee, TN; brother, Douglas (Lorraine), MN; sisters-in-law Agnes Anderson, IL; Florence Mikkelson, MN; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and youngest brother, Charles. Trudy had a variety of interests.

She enjoyed oil painting, crossword puzzles, traveling, reading (angels & mysteries in particular), cooking, bird watching, classical music and being active in her church circles. Trudy touched many lives and will be missed but not forgotten.

A memorial service will be held on Sat., 2/1/03 at 11:30 AM at Victory Lutheran Church, 5946 E. University Dr., Mesa, AZ.
