| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, January 29, 2008 Matthew Nelson Nicholas, 32, of Salem, Ore., formerly of Prescott, often said he wanted to “serve God until his dying day.” That day was Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008. And he’s now in Heaven “hangin’ with his friend, Jesus.” A visitation time is planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at First Baptist Church in Prescott. Burial will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at the Oddfellows Cemetery. A celebration of Matt’s life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Prescott High School, Ruth Street Theater. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Matt’s memory can be made to Amplified Version Ministry, or a charity of the donor’s choice. Information provided by survivors. |
