| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 1, 2003 Charles Alfred Brown Sr., 96, passed away January 29 in Phoenix, AZ. He is survived by his two sons, Barry D. (Dorothy Irene) Brown of Phoenix and Charles A. (Kathleen Elaine) Brown, Jr. of Glendale, AZ. Also surviving is his brother, George Brown of Salida, Colorado and eight Grandchildren. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, College of Architecture. He retired from E.L. Varney and Associates in 1965. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 1, [2003]at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W. Van Buren, Arrangements by A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd.
