McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel Safford, Arizona Ivan Bode Pearson was born July 9, 1919 in Sadia, Texas to James Peter Pearson and Mary Viola Bode Pearson. He passed away December 5, 2009. Ivan served in the Army during WWII. After being discharged he worked on the railroad in El Paso. He came to Arizona in 1944 and worked on the UB Ranch with his Aunt and Uncle. During this time he met and married Reva June Clifford. Ivan worked for the Arizona State Dept. of Agriculture & Horticulture as a District Supervisor over 3 counties. After 30 years of he retired. He also served on the Board of Supervisors and Board of Adjustments for 18 years for Graham County. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Durwood & Allen Howard. Ivan is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Reva June Pearson, sons Armon (Holly Jo) Pearson, Clifford (Cindy) Pearson and daughter Jane Pearson, 11 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the Solomon LDS Chapel. Viewing will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel and 1 hour prior to services at the Church. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery. See Also: Find A Grave |
