Harris E. Larsen, 80, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away January 4, 2003. He was born June 15, 1922 in Hurley, South Dakota.

At the age of 2, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Italy. After an honorable discharge, he returned to Phoenix and became a self-employed auto dealer. He remained an active member of the 88th Infantry Division.

Harris is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jeanette, his sister, Ada Conley, his children, Jan Leckey and husband Mike, son Harry, stepdaughter, Shirley McDaniel and husband Eddie, grandchildren, Mike McDaniel and wife Mary, Sherrie Kahler and husband Joe and great-grandchildren Candace Sarah, Amanda, Matt, Mark and Shelli.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Road.

Services at 11:00 a.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.

Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Chapel.
