Donald A. Rauscher, 84 went home to be with his Blessed Savior on December 25, 2002. Born in Haxton, Colo., he moved to Friend, Nebraska where he graduated from Friend High School.

He then moved to California where he was a trucking supervisor for Blue Diamond Co. He retired from Kopper's Ready Mix Cement Co.

Donald was an active member in his church, teaching 4th grade boys Sunday School.

He retired to Payson in 1983 where he enjoyed sharing hobbies with his wife.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry (Frank) Root of Calif.; step-son, Jerry Lane of Montana; two grandsons, Brad (Heidi) Lane of Montana and Eric Lane of Colo.; granddaughters, Annette Rushing and Andrea Root, both, of Calif.; nephew, Gene (Ruth) Rauscher of Neb.; and greatgrandchildren, McKenzie and Jacob Lane.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel; mother, Anna Marie; brother, Merlin and his beloved wife of 45 years, Erile (Lynn).

He leaves behind many family members and friends.

Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at East Resthaven Cemetery, 4290 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix, Az.
