| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 3, 2003 Buford Dobbs, 82, born February 10, 1920 in Scottsboro, Al, retired from APS in 1982, was a veteran in World War II, and a member Jeapord 87. Survived by his wife Helen of 58 years, daughter Joy, and son- in-law Cecil. Passed away peacefully in his sleep with his family members by his side on January 31, 2003. Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations to be given to Hospice of the Valley 1510 E. Flower St. Phx, AZ 85014, in Buford's name. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 5th at 2pm at Resthaven Park Cemetery 6290 W. Northern, Glendale.
