Winterset Madisonian Winterset, Iowa January 26, 2005 MARGARET PERCY, Casa Grande, Az. Margaret Lee Percy, 84, of Casa Grande, Ariz., died Jan. 21, 2005. A Funeral Mass was held today (Wednesday, Jan. 26) at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande. Burial was at Valley of the Sun in Chandler, Ariz. Margaret Percy was born Jan. 17, 1921, in Mercedes, Texas, to John and Bess White. Margaret and her husband, Meryle Percy, had farmed in the Pitzer area for many years and also ran the Pitzer Store. In 1976, they moved to Arizona where she was an active volunteer with St. Vincent DePaul of Casa Grande. She had been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Paul White and Jack White. She is survived by one son, Larry Percy of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Judy Clarkson of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Jean Ganoe of Bella Vista, Ark.; and eight grandchildren, one step-grandson, three great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.
