Louise "Granny" Ferrin, 94, of Youngtown, AZ passed away on Feb. 2, 2003.

She was born March 5, 1908 in Texas and moved to Arizona in 1923 settling in Mesa where she worked as a Telephone Operator until 1926. She resided in Youngtown since 1994. A member of the First Baptist Church of Sun City and the Rebecca's.

Survivors include daughter Judy L. Kemper of Glendale; sons William Rex Ferrin of Stanton, CA and Robert James Ferrin of Westford, MA. Brothers William Bell of Banning, CA and Max Bell of Covina, CA; A sister Ruby Manning of Banning, CA, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil R. Ferrin and son Fred Ferrin. Visitation will be 5-7pm. Wed. Feb. 5, 2003 at Menke Funeral Home with funeral service 11am, Thurs, Feb. 6, 2003, Menke Funeral Home Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.

Private interment will be at Safford Union Cemetery in Safford, AZ. Contributions suggested to Arizona Baptist Childrens Service, 6015 W. Peoria Ave., Glendale, AZ 85302 or Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phx, AZ 85014.
