The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, December 01, 2009 After a courageous battle with cancer, George Ravetto, 51, passed from this world and into the next while surrounded by family and friends. Born on Nov. 1, 1958, in Prescott, Ariz., George was a lover of life and family. George spent his young adult life enjoying the company of family and friends in his childhood home of Prescott. After marrying Sandra, his wife of 24 years, he raised three exceptional children, Cory, Dayton and Jaryn. If you were to ask George what he was most proud of, he would surely say his wife and children. The Ravetto family moved to Montana in 1993 to enjoy the splendors of the Montana countryside. Whether he was taking a hike in the mountains or building the house of his dreams for his family, George was at home in the Flathead Valley. George's generous nature left a lasting impression on all who met him. Whether he was helping a neighbor with a project or providing everything he could for his family, George always thought of others before himself. George Ravetto is survived by his wife Sandra and their three children, Cory, Dayton and Jaryn; his mother Carmen Goswick; his siblings, Frank Ravetto, Joe Ravetto and Cody Goswick; and many other beloved family members. "George, you will be missed, for there is no one else like you." A memorial service for George Ravetto took place at Bethany Lutheran Church in Bigfork, Mont., on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009.
