| Glen Oleson, 81, passed away February 1, 2003 at Yuma Region Medical Center. He was born November 9, 1921 in Faulkton, South Dakota. Mr. Oleson retired from the Eugene Water and Electric Board and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Oleson was very active in golf, bowling, horseshoes, and loved doing crosswords and playing cards. Mr. Oleson is survived by his wife, Irene C. Oleson, of Yuma; daughter, Diann Dietzman, of Spearfish, South Dakota; son, Richard Oleson, of Rapid City, South Dakota; daughter, Sharyl Quick, of Springfield, Oregon; daughter, Linda Pierce, of Spearfish, South Dakota; step-sons Melvin Brovald of Citrus Heights, California, Veryl Brovald, of Dixon, California, and Keith Brovald, of Reno, Nevada; sister, Marie Shaw, of Faulkton, South Dakota; brother, Loyd Oleson, of Mitchell, South Dakota, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Minnie (House) Oleson, four brothers, one sister, and one granddaughter. Mr. Oleson's final resting place will be Black Hills National Cemetery.
