| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 5, 2003 Rev. Cyrus Dixon Broeffle was born August 19, 1915 in Alhambra, Calif. He passed on to his eternal home peacefully on February 2, 2003 surrounded by his family. He was a retired Minister of the Foursquare Gospel Church. He served in the U.S. Navy and later as a Chaplain in the Naval Reserves. He was a resident of Peoria, Ariz. since 1993 and a member of the Evangel Assembly of God Church in Sun City. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, his daughters, Janis Frederick and Judith Herberger, five grandchildren, and seven great-grand children. Services will be held at the Evangel Church, 10701 Boswell Blvd., Sun City, on Thur., Feb. 6 at 1:00 PM. Ceremony to follow at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Evangel Church or Sun Health Hospice, 12740 N. Plaza del Rio Blvd., Peoria (Obit: Courtesy of Pat Wilson) |
