Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory Lake Havasu City, Arizona Sherry Katherine Jester 1959-2009 Sherry Katherine Jester passed away on Sunday Sept. 20 in Las Vegas, NV at Sunrise Hospital after a short but valiant battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on March 6, 1959 in Bell Gardens, Ca to Jacob and Barbara Glatt. She married the love of her life Robert Jester, on February 11, 1978. They made Chino Hills, CA their home for 16 years and then retired to Lake Havasu City in 2004 where they built their dream home and lived happily for the next 5 years. Never were two souls more connected and she will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Sherry worked for Electronic Data Systems for 20 years and then worked as a bookkeeper for Lake Havasu Vacation Rentals and Lakeview Family Dental. She loved riding her ATV's with her husband, Robert and their friend, Tom and Pat Mowery and Bill and Kay Hoffman. She also loved to go jet-skiing with Deb and Carlos Ruiz, scrap-booking, sewing and playing Bunco with her girls. She was a wonderful mother to her children, Jennifer Jester-Madrigal and Thomas Jester, both of California, and will be cherished by them always. She lived her life for her family and she was the center of their world and will be missed beyond measurement. Sherry is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years Robert; her children Jennifer Jester-Madrigal, Thomas Jester; her grandchildren, Isaiah, Andrew and Nicholas Madrigal; her parents, Jacob and Barbara Glatt of Post Falls, Idaho; her brother Dean Glatt of Bakersfield, CA, her brother Jay Glatt of Studio City, CA; her sister Jacqueline Pyle of Ladera Ranch,CA; nephews Darren and Charles Glatt, Tristan Pyle; nieces Heidi Glatt-Fifita and Sarah Bonkowski; great-nieces Makayla and Nia Fifita and godson Scott Becker. A visitation will be on Thursday, September 24, 2009, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Havasu on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 12:00 pm. Interment will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
