Charles Edward (Chuck) Jezick

Charles Edward (Chuck) Jezick, 80, of Morristown was born in Helena, Mont. On June 9, 1922, passed away in the arms of his loving wife of 61 years, Janet, on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at his home in Morristown, Ariz.

He attended school in Helena and graduated from Helena High School in 1940. He enlisted in the Army and served during World War II.

While in the Army he met the love of his life in Texas and on Aug. 1, 1941, he married Janet E. Curry. He was blessed with four loving children, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

After his discharge he entered the insurance field as an investigative underwriter for Retail Credit Company and later American Service Bureau. In 1966 he joined Neighbors of Woodcraft Insurance Company as an underwriter and retired in 1987 as treasurer of the company.

In his retirement he enjoyed traveling and being with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In 1994 they moved to a warmer climate in Wickenburg, Ariz. He was active with St. Albans Episcopal Church in Wickenburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Julia Jezick and grandparents Frank and Mary Jezick of Helena, Mont. And Cornelius and Elizabeth Harrington of Dushore, Pa.

He is survived by his wife Janet, children Donna Snyder of St. Louis, Mo., Judee (Sid) Woodbury of Palm Desert, Calif., Charles John Jezick of Portland, Ore., and Jeanie (Dave) Wainio of Morristown. He is survived by grandchildren Jeff (Debbie) Snyder of St. Louis, Mo., Greg (Renee) Snyder of Littleton, Colo., Kimberly (Jason) Grafel of Savanna, Ga., Michel (Gary) Glaze of Norco, Calif., Paul (Kimberly) Woodbury of Paradise Valley, Ariz., and Katie Grafel of Savanna, Ga. He is survived by cousins Ann Jezick, Josephine (Joe) Woods of Helena, Mo.

Funeral services were held at St. Albans Episcopal Church on Easter Sunday in Wickenburg, Ariz. with Fr. Charles Chatam officiating.
