| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 23, 2003, p. A12 Earl Dennis "Denny" Taylor, 62, died Monday, April 7, 2003 at Parkview Community Hospital, Riverside, Calif. He was born in Wickenburg and was a 1958 graduate of Wickenburg High School. He received a bachelor's in education from Arizona State University in 1963. Mr. Taylor lived in Riverside for 37 years and last worked for Richmond Technology in Redlands, Calif. before he retired in 2001. He was an industrial arts teacher at Chemawa Middle School in Riverside from 1965 until 1970 and at Ramona High School from 1971 until 1980 where he was teacher of the year from 1973 until 1974. He also worked at Hayden, Inc. in Corona, Calif. from 1980 until 1989. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo; daughter Denise Taylor-Gardner of Calimesa, Calif. and son Earl of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. He is also survived by a step-daughter Melissa Herevia of Barstow, Calif.; two step-sons, Michael Hartmann of Moreno Valley, Calif. and Kevin Hartmann of San Diego. He is also survived by two grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild. Memorial services were held April 10, 2003 at Preston and Simons Mortuary in Riverside. Interment will be private. |
