Sibbie Nell (Kerbow) Woodmansee

Sibbie Nell Woodmansee died May 3, 2003 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. She was born Nov. 29, 1923 in Cooper, Texas to Earl and Edna (Scott) Kerbow. Sibbie and her husband Glenn married April 5, 1944 and moved to Phoenix, Ariz. in 1946 after World War II and then to Wickenburg, Ariz.
Sibbie was employed at the Valley National Bank for 15 years and was vice president of Community National Bank of Wickenburg.

While in Wickenburg, Mrs. Woodmansee was honored as the Woman of the Year and past president of the Wickenburg Business and Professional Women. She sat on the board of the Wickenburg Hospital and was a member of the Wickenburg Country Club. Sibbie was Worthy Matron in 1959 of the Hassayampa Chapter No. 35, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of St. Albans Episcopal Church of Wickenburg. Sibbie moved to Dewey, Ariz. in 1998.

Sibbie was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She is survived by husband Glenn of Dewey; sons Glenn (Ed) of Carriere, Miss., and Gene of Burlington, Wis.

The family asks that memorials be given to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.

A private cremation will take place at Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel and Crematory.
