| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 4, 2003, p. B8 Walter C. McKee, 67, passed away May 29, 2003 in the Hospice center in Sun City, Ariz. Walter was born May 17, 1936 in Canandaigua, N.Y. Walter and Beverly Legg, his companion of 10 years, lived in Wickenburg, Ariz. six months of the year, and Beach City, Ohio six months of the year. Walter served in the United States Marine Corps, of which he was very proud. He was an active member of the American Legion and the 40 ET 8 in Wickenburg. He loved working with wood, which stemmed from being a finish carpenter in Phoenix before moving to Wickenburg. He is survived by Beverly; his mother Cora Snitzler and four children, Mike McKee, Sandra McKee, Chester McKee and William McKee; four grandchildren, all of upstate New York. He also has many friends in and around Wickenburg who will miss him. Services and burial will be in Marion, N.Y. Arrangements were handled by Stevens Funeral Home on Buffalo Street in Marion, N.Y. Memorial services in Wickenburg are pending. |
