The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 5, 2003 Carolyn Thompson Plummer Johnson, passed away on Feb. 1, 2003 at the Sun Health Hospice Care Center in Sun City West. She was born March 23, 1910 in Phoenix, Arizona. Carolyn was a life long Episcopalian and a member of St. Alban's in Wickenburg. She was an expert horsewoman and a member and past president of Las Damas. She was married to Edward Plummer who died in 1949 and also to Harold Johnson who died in 1963. Carolyn lived in Gallup New Mexico and in 1964 moved to Wickenburg to be near her sister and brother-in-law Henry and Mary Frick. Carolyn lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed being with friends and family. Carolyn is survived by her sister Estil (Estie) Wilson of Prescott, sister-in-laws Jean Thompson of Sedona and Mary Jane Thompson of Gallup, nieces Mary Lou Wilson and Marsha Kleinz of Phoenix, Peggy Glasco of Durango, Sydney Sachse of Las Cruces, Ann Marie Ray of Gallup, Susie Phelps of Queen Creek, and nephews Vaughn Thompson of Show Low and Mark Frick of West Virginia. Carolyn will be greatly missed by her family and her many dear friends. Services will be at St. Alban's on Saturday, Feb. 8th, 2003, 2:00 PM with internment in the columbarium at St. Albans. Arrangements were made thru Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg.
