The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 5, 2003 Edward J. Koziol, 68, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on Feb. 2, 2003. Born in Greeley, NE on May 12, 1934, he moved to Arizona 10 years ago from Hinsdale, IL. He was a veteran of the Army Airbourne, having served during the Korean War. He was self employed for 35 years as an accountant in Worth, IL and was retired. He was a member of the Paralyzed Veterans Assoc. and of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church in Scottsdale. He was an avid pilot and fisherman. He is survived by his wife Carol; daughters, Annette F. Gohsman, Plano, TX; Patricia A. Yan, Chicago, IL; son, Edward J., Jr., Vail, CO; sisters, Mary Barry, Richardson, TX; JoAnne Fox, Omaha, NE; Jane Tooley, Columbus, NE; brothers, Leonard, Billings, MT; Robert, Grapevine, TX; James, Perth, Australia; and 2 grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held Fri., Feb. 7, 2003, at 10 AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, 10755 N. 124th St., Scottsdale, AZ.
