The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 5, 2003 Dale Francis Leeb, 53, Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away February 3, 2003. U. S. Army Veteran. Visitation: Friday, February 7, 2003, 5-8, Rosary at 6:30. Services: Saturday, February 8, 2003 at 8:30 a.m. Both at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Road in Mesa. ------------------- The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 6, 2003 Dale Francis Leeb, 53, of Apache Junction passed away Monday, February 3, 2003. Dale was born in Waukegan, IL and moved to AZ in 1978. He was medically retired from the City of Mesa where he was a heavy equipment operator for 16 years. He was also a poet, a gardener, and a member of The Open Space Task Force in Apache Junction. Dale had tremendous strength, as he battled with liver disease for several years. Although he left this world too soon, he was an inspiration to all who had the privilege to cross his path. Dale is survived by his wife, Judith; daughters, Molly and Bridget Leeb; sisters, Lill Leeb of Spring Grove, IL and Lucy Bollwahn of Burlington, WI; brother, John Leeb of Fort Collins, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Ann Leeb. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 7, with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m., and a Memorial Service, Saturday, at 8:30 a.m. Both will be held at Mariposa Gardens at Power Rd. and Broadway Rd. in Mesa.
