M. Leona (McGraw) South, 92, passed away on Feb. 2, 2003 in Mesa, Arizona.

Born in Dover, KY on April 18, 1910, she grew up in Kentucky and Hamilton, OH. She had lived in Phoenix, AZ since 1957 and moved to Leisure World, Mesa, AZ in 1996.

She was predeceased by her husband George Edward South, her grandson Edward (Teddy) Stuart IV, three sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by one brother: Maurice L. McGraw, Jr., and wife Marge of La Puente, CA; her two daughters: Betty Lee Donato and husband Michael Thomas of Greer, AZ, and Patricia Ann Stuart and husband Edward (Ted) III of Pt. Richmond, CA; one grand daughter: Marlo T. (Donato) Merrill and husband Lee; two great grandsons: Dylan Thomas Merrill and Wyatt Ty Merrill, of Keller, TX; three grandsons: Michael Ty Donato of Gilbert AZ; George Lee Stuart of Rancho Cordova, CA; James Earle Stuart of Martinez, CA.

A private memorial for family only is planned.

In lieu of flowers the famiy suggests donations in her memory to Hospice Family Care Inpatient Facility, 5037 E Broadway Rd., Mesa, AZ, 85206.

Arrangements handled by Arizona Cremation & Funeral Services.
