| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 22, 2003, B9 Harry William Thetford, 74, passed away on Oct. 16, 2003, in Sun City. Harry was born Jan. 20, 1929 in Toledo, Ohio. Harry was the oldest of five children. As a young man he moved with his family from Toledo to the Northwest. He settled in Colorado and Arizona and spent the last 10 years of his life in Wickenburg where he loved and served his friends. He is survived by his son Harry W. Thetford Jr. and daughter-in-law Teri of Graham, Wash.; two brothers, Dean Thetford, Seatle, Wash., and Bob Thetford, Lakewood, Wash.; two sisters, Vivian Simon, Gig Harbor, Wash., and Jean Newton, Illinois; five grandchildren, Devin, Courtney, Abbie, Taylor, and Adam Thetford. He is preceded in death by daughter Theresa Grainer. Visitation was held at Frey Funeral Home on Oct. 20, 2003 from 3-5 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts or the Elks Childrens Christmas Shopping Fund. Arrangements were handled by Frey Funeral Home. |
