Mary Jane (Ford) Thompson

Mary Jane Thompson died in Gallup, N.M. on Nov. 6 from a stroke. She was born on June 30, 1926 in Vernal, Utah. She is survived by her daughter Anne Marie Kay and son-in law Thomas G. Ray, Jr.; grandson Brian J. Pierce; nieces Peggy Glascow, Sidney Sackse, Susan Frick Phelps, Mary Lou Wilson and Marsha Kleinz; nephews Mark Frick and Stewart Vaughn Thompson II. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank B. Thompson, daughter Carol Leigh Thompson and her parents Mary Catherine Nash-Ford and David Rhodes Ford.

Mary Jane lived in Wickenburg with her husband Frank from 1986 to 1993. While in Wickenburg she was an active member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church where she sang in the choir, served on the altar guild and the vestry. She was president of The Episcopal Women's Group as well.
