William E. Chormicle, 93, passed away Dec. 24, 2003. He was born Aug 28, 1910 in Santa Paula, Calif.

William retired from the Auburn Union School District as Transportation Supervisor in 1972. He was a member of Retired Public Employees Association of California, Chapter No. 98 and the California Pioneer Families. He moved to Arizona in 1987 from Nevada City, Calif. His hobbies were fishing, and in later years he was a rock hound, hunted rocks and made jewelry, bookends, clocks, among many other items.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years Gladys; daughter Nadine; sisters Della Cowan and Christine Jenkins and brother Kenneth.

He is survived by three daughters Jeanette Hance of Congress, Elaine Bagley of Nevada and Florene Johnson of California of California; one brother John Leslie of California; eight grandchildren Teresa Lewis, Kenneth Hance, Robert Casey, Sandra Forbes, Gerald Bagley, Linda Flanagan, Sharon Krause and Susan Perez; five great-grandchildren: four great-great grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003. Visitation is from 1 to 1:30 p.m., service is at 1:30 p.m. at Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow service at Wickenburg Cemetery.
Wickenburg Funeral Home handled arrangements.
