The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, A November, 17, 1961 Monday Rite for Mrs. E. A. Colburn Funeral services for Mrs. E. A. Colburn, Jr., were held in the Wickenburg Chapel at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Robert Jenkins, Baptist minister, officiating. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mrs. Colburn, who had been an invalid since 1953, died in her home at 439 Madison Street last Friday evening. Born in DeSoto, Mo., August 9, 1882, Mrs. Colburn first moved to Wickenburg in 1934. She and her husband had then lived at Yava and later at the Congress Mine until 1954 when they returned to Wickenburg. Surviving are the husband, E. A. Colburn, Jr.; four daughters, Mrs. Shirley DuBois of DuBois, Pa., Mrs. Ruth Wilhoit, of Berkeley, Calif., and Mrs. Betty Williams and Mrs. Doris Chilson, both of Clarkdale; and one brother, Bill Murray of Phoenix.
