Merilyn Fuller George, born, March 11, 1938, Mesa, Arizona, died, Jan. 2, 2003, Phoenix, Az.

Survived by, brother, Robert Fuller of Pine, Az.; son, Barton George, MD of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; daughter, Debora Fish of Glendale, Az.; and ten grandchildren.

Merilyn lived nearly all of her life in Az. Her childhood was spent in Globe, Pine, and Cottonwood. Merilyn attended BYU in Provo, Utah, and married Curtis D. George of Choteau, Mt. For 5 years the couple operated a cattle ranch in Montana, where their two children were born.

Merilyn completed her B.A. degree in Math at the U of MT and her M.A. at ASU. Merilyn and Curtis lived in Tempe and S. Phoenix while she worked at SRP from 1972-1991. She then accepted a position at WSCC in Salt Lake City. Widowed in 1992, Merilyn continued to work in UT until her retirement in April, 2000, when she returned to her home in Phoenix. Merilyn was a lifelong member of the LDS church, and enjoyed world travel, scuba diving, music, writing, and serving others through her church callings.

Viewing: Fri, 10 Jan, 7 p.m. Funeral: Saturday Jan, 11, 10 a.m. - Both at LDS Chapel, 7th Ave. and Southern in Phoenix.

Burial: Pine, Arizona.
