William Frederick Anderson, 63, of Prescott, Ariz., born Sept. 28, 1944, in Prescott, Ariz., passed away Feb. 1, 2008, at the VA Medical Center in Prescott.

Niche-side services will be 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at the Prescott National Cemetery with full military honors by the Honor Detail American Legion Post #6. Private cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

William F. Anderson, fondly nicknamed “Bozo” during his law enforcement years, passed away after a long battle with cancer, on February 1, 2008. Bill was 63 years old. He lived his entire life in Arizona, mostly in Prescott, where he was born and raised.

Through the years Bill received a Bachelor’s Degree in Law Enforcement and a Master’s in Education Degree. Bill worked with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office for many years and several other law enforcement agencies throughout Arizona. He last worked with TASC in Prescott, as a counselor, helping guide people on the right pathway of life.

Bill had a love for the outdoors; his passions were hunting, fishing, and target shooting. He was happiest spending time with his family and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Carl W. and Mabel Luella (Smith) Anderson. He was an only child.

He is survived by the love of his life Joyce Kaczor and her family, Mark & Judy (Larrabee) Brooks, Heather Olsen and Sharee Ruiz, Lee Lillie, and Walt & Ken Ryer, his closest friends.
