Theodore Raymond Smigiel passed away on 3-18-2006 after a short illness. Private services have already been held. Theodore (Ted) was born June 16, 1919 to Anna ADOLF and Theodore L. SMIGIEL, Sr. in Ridgewood, New York.

Theodore follows his wife of 63 years, Mafalda Helen Smigiel in death. Theodore owned and operated his own trucking business in New York and semi-retired to Phoenix in 1977. He then worked for the City of Phoenix until he retired in 1982.

Ted and Helen traveled extensively during their retirement, with their trips to Hawaii being their most treasured. They also spent much of their retirement leisure playing bingo at the casino where they made many new friends.

Ted leaves behind his two daughters; Helen TERRASI and Maryann COLE, his son-in-law and friend W. Jerald COLE who he always depended on, and never disappointed him; and the lights of his life, three grandchildren; Jerry Cole, James Cole, and Jaclyn Terrasi.

Ted was a man who was loved and respected by his family and all who met him. He was gentle, kind, and generous to a fault. Dad, you will be missed. Our consolation is that you will be with your love, your sweetheart, our mother.
