The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 6, 2003 Ronola Jolly Richins, 63, of Laveen, AZ died on February 3, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Prescott, Arizona on August 17, 1939. She passed away in her home that she loved In Laveen. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and tireless servant in her church and community. After raising three Sons, she served for 23 years as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher at the Laveen Elementary School and as a member of other teaching organizations within the Laveen School District. She was a lifetime active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in multiple callings in Ward and Stake organizations including Sunday School, Young Women, Primary, and Relief Society. She also served the Boy Scouts of America in the capacities of Den Mother and Committee Member. She devoted many hours along side her husband in the Laveen Summer Baseball League. She is survived by her loving husband Walter Richins sister Carlene Boyer of San Bernardino, CA; brothers Ronald Wilson of Phoenix, and Robert Wilson of Nevada; and Sons Kirk Richins (wife Alberta), Kris Richins (wife Jennifer) and Kyle Richins. Grandchildren, Codi, Ethan and Brendan. Visitation Friday Feb. 7, 5-8 PM at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary. Services Saturday Feb. 8, 10 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, 4601 W. Encanto Blvd., Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Phoenix, Az 85014 or Arizona Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Rd.
