The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 7, 2003 James Earl Denton, Born September 5, 1925 in Illinois, entered into rest on January 22, 2003. James was a resident of Arizona for 33 years. He was a long time member of the Methodist Church of Sun Lakes. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynn Ivy Denton. He is survived by his daughter Jamie Denton of Mississippi; his step-son, Robert (Stephanie) Oswald of Payson, AZ; three grandsons, Chris Chandler and James Chandler of Klamath Falls, OR, Daniel Chandler of Mississippi; one great-grandson, Israel Chandler of Klamath Falls, OR; his brother, Richard (Kathryn) Denton of Glendale, AZ; sisters, Kaye (Thomas) Madden of Sacramento, CA, Sherry (Jim) Pope, and Nona (Wayne) Burnaine of Atlanta, GA. James will be greatly missed by friends and family. A memorial service will be held at Chapel of Sun Lakes Number one 9240 N. Sun Lakes Blvd, Sun Lakes, AZ on February 11, 2003 at 3:00pm.
