The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 7, 2003 Phyllis Hanenburg, 71, Chandler, Arizona, died February 4, 2003 in Chandler. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to William and Nola Hollemans, she married John Hanenburg, Jr., October 31, 1952 in Grand Rapids. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1999. They moved from Michigan to Phoenix, Arizona in 1953. She was employed by Good Samaritan Hospital until retirement in 1996. She was a member of Phoenix Christian Reformed Church, Phoenix. She is survived by her 5 children; Stephanie Podborny and husband Paul, Ely, Nev-ada, John Hanenburg III, and wife Marcia, Chandler, Arizona, Jeffrey Hanenburg, Chandler, Arizona, Jason Hanenburg and wife Terry, Tempe, Arizona and Shannon Tarico and husband Doug, Tucson, Arizona; 10 grandchildren Jeremy, Cassandra, and Michelle Podborny, Chase, Whitney, Cole, Conner, Lauren and Malory Hanenburg and Camden Tarico. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2003 at Green Acres Mortuary from 3:00-5:00 PM with funeral services and burial on Monday, February 10, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona.
