The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 7, 2003 Lillian U. Weitzenkorn, 80, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away February 3, 2003. Born in Pittsburgh, PA she was a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. Lillian married Bill Weitzenkorn in 1942, who preceded her in death. A kind, smart & generous soul, she was a librarian, & a life-long volunteer in Jewish & community organizations. She was known for her needlepoint, knitting & baking. Survived by her loving children; Lee & Peter Haas; Steven Weitzenkorn & Bonnie Kabin; Helene Weitzenkorn & Eileen Schwartz; grandchildren: Michelle & Dan Seagull, Aaron, Rebecca Haas, & Ben Weitzenkorn; sister Sarah (Betty) Glick, many dear friends.
