The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, November 30, 2009 Norman C. Dokken, age 95, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Prescott, Ariz., died on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Myrtle; and four brothers and sisters. He is survived by sons, Byron (Eunice), Roger (Carrie); and brother, Marvin (Lucy). Also surviving him are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Norman was born and raised in Glasgow, Mont. and always had a love for wheat farming. He owned and operated the Napa auto parts store and Dokken Motor Supply in Prescott from 1957 to 1976. He also was a long time member of the Lions Club. A memorial service will be on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Tempe, Ariz. Arrangements were by the Allen Funeral Home in Mesa, Ariz. Information provided by survivors. |
