The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 9, 2003 Wendell Jess Camp, 85, of Mesa, AZ, found his Peace within the loving care and tender ministrations of Hospice of the Valley (Arbor Rose) Palliative Care Unit, on February 5, 2003. Preceded in death by two daughters, Susan and Peggy, Wendell is survived by his wife, Darlene, son, Jim, daughter, Sally, and leaves a legacy of devotion to family, dedication to work ethic and love of Nature to his many descendants. Retired after a 40-year career, and tenure as Traffic Manager, with Dresser Industries. Wendell reveled in the adventures of hiking, 4WD, and seeking lost mines and historic mementoes, which lured him to Arizona from Michigan in 1983. A veteran of service in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Wendell will receive military honors at Family Graveside Services at VA National Memorial Columbaria, 23029 N.
