Madelyn Hendricks quietly passed away February 5, 2003 ending her short battle with lymphoma. Born and raised in New Orleans, the family moved to Scottsdale in 1960 where Madelyn and her husband "Herbie" founded the M & H Co. From modest beginnings M & H grew to be one of the largest and oldest ad specialty companies in Arizona.

Even at age 86, Madelyn continued to handle the financial aspects of the business. She was pleased that after Herb passed away in '93, her son Baker continued and expanded the company to include "Mostly Postcards" and "Arizona Art School". Away from the office Madelyn kept busy with family, her kitties, music, roses and her books.

Madelyn lives in the memories of her 4 siblings in New Orleans, her children Joan, Jane, Baker and his wife Janet, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. "Kiss Drottie, Nick and Dad for us!"

Donations may be sent to Mayo Hospital for their Cancer Center. On Sunday, Feb. 16 will be a celebration of her life at Baker's home, 6109 E. Brilliant Sky Dr., Scottsdale, from 2 to 5pm. Call 480-994-3070 for directions.
