Ruth Maxine Cunningham, 84, of Tucson went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 7, 2008. She was born in Storm Lake, Iowa to the late Ralph Emerson and Edna Zeruah Sheffield.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Glenn V. Cunningham.

She was a homemaker as well as an accomplished pianist.

She is survived by her brothers, Gordon Sheffield, of Omaha Nebraska, and Paul Sheffield and wife Ruth, of Michigan; her sister, Helen Langner and husband Gladwyn of Storm Lake, Iowa; her children, Glenn D. Cunningham, Lynn Cunningham and wife Sherry, Gene Cunningham and wife Nancy, Sue Wethli and husband Alton, Cindy Cunningham, Cathy Lee and husband John, Sharon Jones and husband Lee, Nancy Howard and husband Richard, John Cunningham and wife Lori, and Cheryl Watkins and husband Monty; 36 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 700 p.m. at Tucson Bible Church. Memorials may be made to Basic Training Bible Ministries or Arkansas Youth Camp.
