Montgomery Rites Are Held Thursday

Funeral services for Edward (Monty) Montgomery, were conducted at 11 o'clock Thursday morning of this week in the Wickenburg Chapel by the Rev. Bill Barker.

Burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery.

Mr. Montgomery, who had lived in Wickenburg for about 30 years and was well known by most residents, died in Community Hospital August 31. He had been in ill health for many years but until recently was able to work at odd jobs for various people. He was born August 19, 1878.

Only known survivor is a sister, Mrs. Effie Dyer of Decatur, Ill.
