Inez L. Mitchell, 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2003. She was born on March 12, 1922 in Russell, Minn.

She was a resident of Washington State since 1958, living in Seattle and the Grand Coulee Dam area. She spent winters in Arizona for 17 years, living in Mesa.

She was an Eastern Star member for 50 yrs, Daughter's of The Nile, White Shrine, Women's Amaranth, active in the protestant church, and when her children were young, Cub Scout Den Mother and Campfire Girl
leader.

She had a loving heart for others enjoying all social occasions. She also enjoyed music, dancing, arts and crafts and was always ready to travel, which included 16 foreign countries.

She is survived by husband Leo C. Mitchell of 60 years, son Jim Mitchell and wife Paula, daughter, Pam Ozanne and husband Jim, daughter, Debbie Imus and husband Gary, seven grandchildren and many family and friends who's lives she touched.

A memorial service will be held at the Mesa East Court Clubhouse, 225 S. 74th St., Mesa, Arizona, January 11, at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 2472, Spokane, WA., 99210.
