Fredrick S. Richardson of Phoenix, Arizona formerly of Flint, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2003 at the age of 82.
Fredrick was born in Reed City, Michigan on September 17, 1920.

In 1941 he married Lydia Weber. They had 61 years together.

Fred was a World War II veteran and served for three years in the Army Corp of Engineers.

He was a member of the VFW 9400, the American Legion #29 and Paradise Valley United Methodist Church. Fred worked as a contract manager for a glass company.

He was very active and one of his hobbies was calling square dances and he was an avid camper. He was beloved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Lydia Richardson; his three daughters, Gail K. Edington (George), Kathleen M. Calhoun (Ronald) and Laurie A. Lukes (Robert) all of Phoenix; eight grandchildren; six great- grandchildren and his brother, Robert G. Richardson.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Louise K. Kollhoff.

Funeral Services will be 8:30 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2003 at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale, Az.
