| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, January 12, 2003 Kathryn Elizabeth Buchtel, 89, went home to be with the Lord on January 10, 2003. She was born in Pickaway County, Ohio, and lived in Akron and Dayton, Ohio. Elizabeth worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 17 years. In 1978 she moved to Sun City, Az. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Reverend and Mrs. Wayne Buchtel, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Kenneth, and infant son, Clifford. A memorial service will be held at Calvin Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 4150 E. Acoma, Phoenix, at Noon on Monday, January 13, with internment services in Akron, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvin Presbyterian Church in memory of Elizabeth.
