| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, January 12, 2003 Thomas L. Johnson, 83, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away Friday, January 10, 2003 in Mesa. Mr. Johnson, a retired machinist and WWII Army veteran, was born in Connersville, Indiana, moving to the valley in the early 1980's. Survivors include his son, Thomas (Diane F.) Johnson; daughter, Dawn J. Ransdell; brother, Carl (Martha) Johnson; sisters, Darlene Hostetler, Jessie Lacontie and Betty Keane and one granddaughter, Angela Crosser. A memorial service will be Tuesday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, Az. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 2707 E.
