| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, January 12, 2003 Maurice R. Wright 1933 - 2003 - father and friend, died in Glendale, Arizona on January 9, 2003. Born in Ganado, Texas, Maurice was almost larger than life - a Texan to the core. He loved his Savior, his family and his work dearly. His deep faith in Christ kept him at peace at the end. He is survived by his wife Carmen, two sisters, Jeraldean Massey and Jessie Starnes, one brother, Bill Wright, six daughters, Marlyn Snider, Cherie Zimmerman, Linda Burk, Kathy Cook, Chana Driver and Jessica Wright and two sons, Dr. Shawn Wright and Shane Wright. He was blessed with 20 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Danny Burk. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., January 13, 2003 at First Hispanic Baptist Church, 1537 W. Monroe Phoenix, Arizona.
