| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona 01/16/2004 Loree Hamblin Jarvis, 84, St. Johns, died Jan. 10, 2004 at her home in St. Johns. Loree was born May 16, 1919 in Eagar. Her survivors include husband, Earl Jarvis; daughters, Maela Collinwood, St. Johns, Kathryn (Melvin) Jones, St. Johns, Virgene Silvers, Mesa; sons, Floyd (Mary Lynn) Jarvis, Ozark, Mo., Mervin (Luana) Jarvis, St. Johns, Karl (Sandra) Jarvis, Blanding, Utah. Also sisters, Marjorie Strickland, Eagar, Gwen Haynie, Claypool, Thelma Wiltbank, Thatcher, Verna Paddock, Mesa, Leona Thompson, Mesa, 27 grandchildren and 59 great grandchildren. Her daughter precedes her in death, Dorothy Jarvis; sister Zelda Slade; and brother Waldo Hamblin. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Stake Center, St. Johns. Jewkes Mortuary, St. Johns handled the arrangements.
