| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona 03/12/2004 Alberta Leah Rhodes, 62, of Show Low Pines, died March 2, 2004 in Mesa after a lengthy illness. She was born Oct. 13, 1942 in Artesia, California. Alberta was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She liked crafting, ceramics and the computer. Her survivors include husband Karl L. Rhodes, Show Low Pines; son K. Richard M. Rhodes, Show Low Pines; daughter Alita Dawn Carpenter, Show Low; and sister Mary Ellen Perry, Ohio. Services for Alberta were held Tuesday, March 9, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Concho Branch, Concho. Interment was at the Westside Cemetery in St. Johns.
