The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 10, 2003 Lowell B. Ebrite, was born June 6, 1915 in Adams County, Ohio. He passed away Feb. 6, 2003 at Good Samaritan Hospital with his family at his side. He worked at St. Luke's Hospital in the purchasing department for many years. He was a Mason and active in the El Zaribah Shrine. He enjoyed growing roses and baking pies, both of which earned him many blue ribbons at the Arizona State Fair. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Bessie (1971), his parents William & Bertha, his brother Ray, and his sisters Hazel and Rachel. Survivors include his daughter Patty (Paul) Banales of Tucson, son Ed Ebrite of Phoenix, grandchildren Paul Banales, Daniel Banales, Jessica Banales, and his "special little sweetheart" great grand daughter Gabrielle Banales, as well as numerous other relatives in Ohio. Services will be held on Wed., Feb. 12, 2003 at 12:00 noon with visitation 1 hour prior at Greenwood Memory Lawn Serenity Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Lowell's memory to: Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital Fairfax Road at Virginia Street, Salt Lake City, Utah 84103-4339.
