| Wickenburg, Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Sept. 16, 1955, p. 4. August Nord Dies On Salome Ranch Funeral services for Mr. Nord will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday) at the A. L. Moore Chapel in Phoenix. Funeral arrangements are pending for August Nord, 70 year-old rancher and miner, who had lived in the Salome area for 40 years. He died on his ranch near Salome Tuesday night. Mr. Nord was a member of the Arizona Cattle Growers' Association and served for a time on the Board of Supervisors of Yuma County. He came to Arizona in 1905 from Sweden. Surviving are the widow; two sons, John and Albert of Salome; a brother, Eric, Salome; and a sister, Matilda Erickson of Niles. Mich. |
