Craig Michael Robbins
(December 27, 1975 - December 7, 2009)

Craig Michael Robbins, 33, of Show Low passed away Monday, December 7, 2009 in Lakeside. He was born December 27, 1975, at Ripley, Mississippi, the son of Billy Joe and Renée (Fair) Robbins. He was raised and attended school in Apache Junction, AZ.

He came to Show Low fourteen years ago and worked as an equipment operator. He had been employed by Hospital Building Equipment during construction of the Summit Medical Center Tower. Craig loved country music, dancing, bull riding, fishing and the outdoors. He had a contagious smile and was a kind friend to every one.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Renée and Don Higginbotham, of Show Low; his father, Billy Joe Robbins; his loving step-father whom he called Dad, Larry Chappell of Fort Myers, Florida; his girlfriend, Keli Holl of Lakeside; three brothers, Benjamin and wife Shannon Chappell of Albany, New York; Jeremy and wife Kim Chappell of Show Low; Robert Higginbotham of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Sonja Chappell of Jacksonville, North Carolina; his maternal grandmother, Mary Lou and husband Harold Ornellas of Cortez, Colorado; maternal grandfather, William and wife Ruth Fair of Ripley, Mississippi; paternal grandmother, Agnes and husband Clayton New of Pontotoc, Mississippi; his Aunt Tia Ornellas and her son Ryan, several other aunts and uncles, and his nephews and nieces Troy, Delilah, Paress and Jeremy Fox Chappell.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 19, 2009, at the Show Low Elk's Lodge, 805 E. Whipple, with Chaplain Kevin Weaver officiating.

Burial will follow at the Show Low Cemetery. A luncheon and celebration of his life will follow back at the Elk's Lodge.
