The Winterset Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Sept. 9, 1955, p. 6 Rites Held For John L. Kerwin Funeral services were held September 2 in Prescott for John L. Kerwin, 61, a resident of Congress engineer for the past five years who passed away August 24 in Whipple Veterans Hospital, Prescott. He had been a patient there for nine months. Father Bernard Nowicki conducted the rites with full military honors. Interment was in the Whipple cemetery. Mr. Kerwin was a former mining engineer and a U. S. Navy veteran of World War I.
