Hazel Agnes (Silverthorn) Rogers

Hazel A. Rogers, 100, of Indianola Good Samaritan Center died Sunday of a heart ailment there. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, with burial at Moon Cemetery in Macksuburg.

Mrs. Rogers was born in Madison County and lived in Winterset and Tucson, Ariz., before moving to Indianola in 1980. She was a homemaker and a member of Panora United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorine Westerly of Indianola; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and 10 step great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
